Growing Uptown —Harvesting Time!

~ Harvesting celery grown at home.
~ Making celery juice.
~ A mini herb urban garden; growing escarole, red leaf lettuce, celery, Thai, purple, and Italian basil, chives, parsley, cilantro, and mint. Seven containers in a 3 ft. x 3 ft. firescape yield herb and greens for many salads, juices from May to October. The mint continues to give, and it is December!
